Two friends are visiting the zoo one day, when they hear a
sudden commotion behind them. Looking
over their shoulders, they see that a tiger has escaped from its enclosure and
is running amok. At that very moment,
the tiger fixes its gaze upon the two friends and dashes towards them.
The two friends take off, running as fast as they can. Every time they glance back, however, their
situation becomes more and more perilous.
The tiger, once fairly far back in the distance, is getting closer and
closer with every minute.
“This is crazy!” shouts the first friend to his companion as
they run for their lives, looking for shelter.
“We’re doomed! We can’t outrun a
tiger!”
“I don’t need to outrun the tiger,” his friend calls as he
pulls ahead. “I just need to outrun you!”
